Amazon Prime Video: Summer Solstice Party
Amazon Prime Video kicked off Summer 2022 with an exclusive press event at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel, celebrating the launch of a slew of juicy new reality programming. Alongside a press junket, guests were treated to a day of summer day camp-inspired activities, each highlighting one of the featured shows. Elevated food service and a dedicated working lounge were available throughout the day.
The event collateral design was inspired by the saturated colors of a California sunset. Psychedelic typefaces created a vibey summer mood across the experience, and custom illustrations of the Proper Hotel helped direct guests to their various activities.
Guests were invited to take part in themed activities that laddered back to each of the featured shows. Sessions included a cook-off with the cast of Forever Summer Hamptons, DIY shibori tie-dye (Making the Cut), succulent ikebana workshop (Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis), senior photos (Lovestruck High), and birth chart readings with the Astro Twins (Cosmic Love).
The day wrapped up with a cocktail party on the roof of the hotel, featuring an acoustic set by Australian-American signer-songwriter and host of The One that Got Away, Betty Who.
