Ginkgo Bioworks: 2021 Ferment Conference
In October 2021, Ginkgo Bioworks hosted their annual conference known as Ferment, bringing together a community of innovators to inspire new connections and provoke new ways of thinking around the ways that technology and biology intersect. Hosted at the historic Sowa Power Station in Boston, the experience was the largest conference to date.
The event was featured in the Boston Globe.
Constructed as an immersive whimsical playground, surrealistic natural forms and a bright, lively color palette dominated the visual experience. In my role as Senior Designer, I created the FERMENT logo and brand identity system, as well as all of the associated event collateral including website landing page, programs, merch, stage graphics, and wayfinding signage.
