The FRIENDS Experience

More than 25 years after fans first met Ross, Rachel, Joey, Monica, Chandler and Phoebe, The FRIENDS™ Experience takes visitors right back to the 90’s to revisit some of the series' most iconic scenes. Produced by Superfly X, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and Warner Bros. Television Group, the 8,500-square-foot pop-up experience sold out its one-month NYC run before moving to Boston, Chicago and Atlanta.

Based on the success of these pop-ups, Superfly X and Warner Bros. produced a two-floor permanent flagship attraction in NYC, featuring even more set recreations, authentic props, and merchandise, as well as a cafe within Central Perk.

The FRIENDS Experience has been featured in USA Today as a Top 5 Best New Attraction of 2021, the Chicago Tribune, MTV News, BuzzFeed, Good Morning America, the Hollywood Reporter, and The Independent, among others.

Role: Experiential Design Manager

The nostalgia-packed flagship and pop-up spaces offer fans the opportunity to explore the show and capture photos with set re-creations, props, and costumes that have defined 25 years of everyone's favorite FRIENDS.

Visitors can peek through Monica and Rachel's purple door, relax on Chandler and Joey's recliner after playing some foosball, or help Ross with the infamous sofa pivot. Finally, they head to a re-created Central Perk for a pic on the legendary orange couch.

My role on the Creative Production team involved spatial planning, working with fabrication vendors on exhibit designs and propping, as well as overseeing the design and production of large-scale wall graphics and wayfinding signage.
